Found my way onto the official high school sports site for the state. Took a minute to navigate – those things aren’t exactly built for speed. Clicked around the basketball section, then tournaments, then “2025 Championships.” Bingo.
There it was: the whole shebang. All the dates laid out clean. None of this messy link chasing. Simple list showing:
- When the tournament officially kicks off
- The exact dates for each round – prelims, quarters, all that
- The final championship date, bold as anything
Just breathed a sigh of relief. Felt stupid it took that long, but sometimes the basics work best. Didn’t need to sign up for anything or jump through hoops. Copied the whole thing into a document real quick. Saved it. Printed a copy too – old habit. Taped it right next to my desk calendar. Done.
So yeah, sometimes you gotta stop beating your head against a wall with searches and just go to the people who actually run the show. The info is there, just buried a little. Now I know exactly when to clear my schedule and maybe even sneak in some extra snacks.
