Digging Up The Schedule Like A Bloodhound
Alright, saw the buzz online about the 2025 girls state tourney schedule dropping. Figured I gotta grab it quick and make sense of it for the folks following my sports stuff. First thing first? - Next time slot? 11:15 AM. Same place. Riverside vs. Robert C. Byrd (Class AAA). Keep going…
- Focused hard on getting the schools exactly right. Double-checked against the raw list every few entries. Last thing I want is to announce a game with wrong teams!
Added afternoon slots:
- 1:00 PM: Class A action kicks off – Tyler Consolidated vs. Pendleton County.
- Followed by Summers County vs. Wheeling Central (also Class A) at 2:45 PM. More typing, more coffee gulps.
Kept building the schedule line by line, venue by venue, until the whole first day was mapped out in my spreadsheet. Fingers tired, but I could finally see the tournament unfolding.

And breathe… Schedule officially processed and shared. Job done for now.
But this isn’t the finish line. This is just grabbing the map before the road trip. Started mentally prepping:
