So, I’ve been trying to find a decent sports bra lately, you know, something that actually does the job. I decided to go with an Under Armour one this time. Let me tell you about my little adventure.

First off, I started browsing online. I checked out a bunch of different stores’ websites to see what they had. I saw some mentions of “women’s featured sports bras” and “women’s collections sports bras” on the Under Armour site. Looked promising, but I wasn’t ready to commit just yet.
Then I remembered reading somewhere that low-impact sports bras are good for things like yoga and stretching, where you’re not bouncing around too much. That sounded right up my alley since I’m mostly into yoga these days.
I figured I’d hit up a real store to try some on. I ended up at Kohl’s because I had a coupon. Their website mentioned “great deals” on Under Armour stuff, so I was hopeful. I found a few Under Armour bras and tried them on in the fitting room.
- First one I tried was too tight.
- Second one was too loose.
- The third one… well, it was just weird. It felt like it was pushing down on my stomach. No thanks.
After striking out at Kohl’s, I went over to Nordstrom’s website. They have a wide selection of athletic wear, and I had some luck at their store before.
I also stumbled upon Gap’s website while searching, and they mentioned having bras with “soft fabrics”. That sounded nice, but I was really focused on finding something from Under Armour.
Finally, after trying on what felt like a million bras, I found one that was perfect. It was snug, but not too tight. It kept everything in place without feeling like I was being squished. And most importantly, it didn’t press down on my stomach. Success!
So, that’s my sports bra story. It took a bit of searching, but I finally found the right one. It’s a good reminder that it’s worth taking the time to find something that actually fits and feels good, especially when it comes to workout gear.
