Okay, so, I’ve been on this fitness kick lately, right? And like any normal person, I needed some new gear. Top of my list? A good sports bra. I mean, you can’t really work out comfortably without one, especially when you’re, you know, well-endowed.

So, I’m browsing online, and the Champion Women’s Sports Bra keeps popping up. I see it everywhere – different styles, colors, the whole nine yards. I start reading reviews, you know, the usual stuff. Some people are raving about it, saying it’s super comfy and supportive. Others are complaining that the straps are too short or that it’s not as adjustable as they’d like.
I’m on the fence, but then I see they have a version called “The Curvy” and another called “The Absolute Maximum.” Now, those sound promising! I mean, who wouldn’t want maximum support, right? And “Curvy”? That’s me!
I decide to go for it and order both. While I’m waiting, I do some more digging. I come across this article on a website – I think it was a consumer report site or something – about their “Everyday Sport Bra.” They had done some actual testing on it, which was cool.
My bras finally arrive! I try on “The Curvy” first. First impression? It feels pretty good. It’s snug, but not in a bad way. The material is soft, and it seems like it will hold everything in place. I do a few jumping jacks, and, yeah, pretty solid support.
Next up is “The Absolute Maximum.” This one is a bit more heavy-duty. It has thicker straps and more coverage. I put it on and, whoa, this thing is serious! It’s definitely more restrictive, but that’s kind of what I was looking for. This one’s for the intense workouts, for sure.
I actually found the straps on this version to be less adjustable than a different style of sports bra that I already owned. That was a bit of a bummer, to be honest.
I tried them both out at the gym the next day. “The Curvy” was perfect for my yoga class. It was comfortable enough to move around in, and I didn’t feel like I was bouncing all over the place.
“The Absolute Maximum” was a game-changer for my run. I usually have to wear two bras for running, but this one did the job all by itself. It was like a hug, but for my chest. A very secure, very supportive hug.
- Tried out “The Curvy” version of the Champion sports bra.
- Felt snug and comfortable.
- Good support for low-impact activities like yoga.
- Tried out “The Absolute Maximum” version.
- More restrictive but excellent for high-impact activities like running.
- Straps on “The Absolute Maximum” were less adjustable than expected.
So, yeah, overall, I’m pretty happy with my Champion sports bras. I don’t think I’d wear three at once, even if you have a chest like me. The “Absolute Maximum” was surprisingly effective, even on its own.
My Verdict
If you’re looking for a good, reliable sports bra, Champion is definitely worth checking out. They have different styles for different needs, so you can find one that works for you. Just pay attention to the reviews and maybe try a couple of different versions to see what you like best. Oh, and if you’re busty like me, “The Absolute Maximum” is your new best friend. You’re welcome.
