Grabbed my coffee and just typed “2025 class c girls basketball state champion” straight into Google while scrolling TikTok. Big mistake – first page showed articles from last year’s tournament. Almost texted my niece wrong info before spotting the date. Felt like an idiot pouring salt instead of sugar into my mug.

- Checked three local news sites with awful pop-up ads
- Scrolled Twitter forever using “#ClassCGirlsHoops”
- Texted my buddy who coaches AAU – guy always knows
Took like 40 minutes because some sites crashed twice. Seriously considered just making up an answer.
Finally Got The Goods
My coach friend replied with a voice note while I was microwaving lunch. Turned out the Riverdale Rockets took it all in overtime – beat Pine Creek 52-50. Game ended with some freshman blocking what would’ve been the tying layup at the buzzer. Absolute chaos.

Cross-referenced everything with tournament stats page (which loaded slower than dial-up). Spent another 20 minutes writing bullet points in my worn-out practice journal before texting my niece. She replied with 15 fire emojis and asked if Emma Chen’s insta handle. Told her nice try – ain’t enabling stalker behavior through Uncle Rob. Closed laptop feeling like I’d run the damn game myself.
