Today, I want to share my experience with palm tennis. You know, it all started when I stumbled upon some info about this tennis club in Palm Springs. It sounded fancy, with options for seasonal and year-round memberships, single, couple, you name it.

So, I got curious and decided to check it out.
First, I looked up some places in Palm Springs, and boy, there are tons of options! Public courts, private clubs, places with lights, no lights, you get the idea. I made a list of a few that caught my eye, like this CC Tennis Club and the Indian Wells Tennis Garden. I even heard about this place called Deep Canyon Tennis Club that’s supposed to be amazing.
Then came the fun part – actually playing!
- I started with some public courts to get a feel for it. Nothing fancy, just hitting the ball around. It was pretty chill.
- After that, I decided to try out one of the clubs. I booked a court at PSTC Tennis Club I think it was called. It was nice, they had these pickleball courts too, but you had to share them with tennis. And you had to reserve your time, which was a bit of a hassle.
- They also had these time shares or something, so only people staying at the hotel or club members could make reservations, but guests were allowed if someone had a reservation.
- I also saw they had pools, spas, and even a restaurant called Spencer’s. Seemed like a good place to hang out after a game.
Finally, I decided to treat myself and visited one of the fancier places, La Quinta Resort. They had all these courts, and it was pretty swanky. I played a few sets, and it was definitely a different experience from the public courts.
Overall, my palm tennis adventure was pretty fun. I got to try out different places, meet some people, and get some exercise. It’s definitely something I’d do again. If you are ever in Palm Springs and looking for something to do, you should give it a shot!
Conclusion?
It’s a good way to spend a day, whether you’re a serious player or just looking to have some fun. And the scenery ain’t bad either!
