Okay, so I’ve been meaning to get into this whole “tennis shoes with fringe” thing for a while now. I saw a few people rocking them online, and I thought, “Hey, that looks kinda cool!” So, I started my little project.

First, I looked up some tennis shoes online. I mean, there are tons of them out there, right? I didn’t want anything too flashy, just a simple, classic pair. And the prices, wow, they were all over the place! I compared a few different brands and styles, trying to find something that wouldn’t break the bank but still looked decent.
- Browsed through online shops
- Compared prices and styles
- Decided on a simple, white pair
After a bit of searching, I finally found a pair that I liked. They were just plain white, nothing fancy, which was perfect for what I had in mind. I ordered them, and they arrived a few days later. I was so excited.
Next, I needed to find the fringe. I went to a few local craft stores, but honestly, I didn’t really know what I was looking for. I just wandered around, checking out different materials. Finally, I found this roll of leather fringe that looked pretty good. It was the right color and length, so I grabbed it.
Then came the fun part – putting it all together! I got my glue gun, some scissors, and got to work. I carefully measured and cut the fringe to the right length, then glued it onto the shoes. It was a bit messy, but I managed to get it done without making too much of a disaster. My hands were sticky with glue though.
The shoes looked awesome! I was pretty proud of myself, if I do say so myself. I tried them on, and they fit perfectly. I wore them around the house for a bit, just to get a feel for them. They were surprisingly comfortable, and the fringe added a nice touch of flair.
The result
I decided to wear them out the next day, and I got a few compliments! People seemed to like them. It was definitely a conversation starter. Overall, I’m really happy with how they turned out. It was a fun little project, and I ended up with a unique pair of shoes that I can’t wait to wear more often!
