Okay, so here’s the deal. I was trying to figure out when the IU baseball team is playing in 2025. Just wanted to see their schedule, you know, plan a weekend around a game.
First things first, I hit up Google. Typed in “iu baseball schedule 2025.” Seemed simple enough, right? Got a bunch of results, mostly older stuff from past seasons, some news articles, and a couple of links to the official IU athletics site.
The official site seemed like the best bet. Clicked on it, then had to navigate to the baseball section. It was a little buried, not gonna lie. Finally found the “Schedule” page.
Now, this is where it got a bit annoying. The 2025 schedule wasn’t actually there yet. It’s still early, makes sense, but still frustrating. Saw the 2024 schedule, though. Looked at that for a bit, just to get a feel for the kinds of teams they play and when the season usually starts.
Next, I tried digging around on the Big Ten website. They usually have schedules posted eventually. Searched for “Big Ten baseball schedule 2025.” Got some similar results as before, nothing concrete for 2025 specifically.
Alright, time to get a little more proactive. I figured maybe some fan forums or sports blogs might have some rumors or predictions. So, I searched for stuff like “iu baseball 2025 season preview” and “big ten baseball 2025 predictions.” Found a couple of articles discussing potential matchups and early rankings, but still no actual schedule.
Then I remembered Twitter! I searched for hashtags like #IUBB and #BigTenBaseball. Found some tweets from IU baseball’s official account, but mostly just about past games and player highlights. No 2025 schedule teasers yet.
So, what did I end up doing? Basically, I set a reminder on my phone to check the IU Athletics website and the Big Ten website every few weeks. Also subscribed to the IU baseball newsletter (hopefully they’ll announce it there). In the meantime, I’m just going to keep an eye on those fan forums and Twitter for any hints.
It’s a waiting game, I guess. Not the most exciting conclusion, but that’s the reality of finding info before it’s officially released. Will update when I actually find the schedule!
