Updated Fantasy Football Top 100 PPR: Must-Have Players here.

Alright, so I decided to dive deep into the world of fantasy football this year, and I figured I’d share my journey of figuring out the top 100 players in a PPR (points per reception) league. It was a bit of a process, so buckle up!

Updated Fantasy Football Top 100 PPR: Must-Have Players here.

Getting Started

First, I grabbed a bunch of magazines and printed out some cheat sheets from a few different websites. You know, the usual suspects. I like having the physical copies to scribble on and highlight.

Making Sense of it All

Then came the fun part – well, fun and also kinda overwhelming. I spread everything out on my dining room table and started comparing the rankings. It was a mess! Some guys were way higher on one list than another, and it was hard to see any real consensus.

Digging Deeper

  • I spent hours reading player profiles, looking at past stats, and even watching some game highlights (any excuse to watch football, right?).
  • I focused a lot on targets. In a PPR league, you want guys who are going to get the ball thrown to them a lot, even if they aren’t always scoring touchdowns.
  • I also tried to factor in things like new coaches, offensive schemes, and potential injuries. It’s all part of the puzzle.

My Own Rankings

After all that research, I started putting together my own top 100 list. I used a spreadsheet (because I’m a nerd like that) and kept tweaking it as I went. I moved guys up and down based on my gut feeling and all the info I had gathered.

Feeling Pretty Good

Finally, I had a list I was reasonably happy with. It’s definitely not perfect, and I’m sure I’ll be making changes throughout the season, but it’s a solid starting point. Now I have some base for drafting! I’m ready for the draft!

It felt good to really dig in and do the work, instead of just blindly following some expert’s list. We’ll see how it all plays out, but at least I feel prepared!
