Updated Fantasy Football 2024 PPR Rankings: Find Value Picks!

Okay, folks, let’s dive into my little adventure with Fantasy Football 2024 PPR rankings. I’ve been playing fantasy football for years, and every year, I swear I’m gonna be more organized. This year, I actually tried.

Updated Fantasy Football 2024 PPR Rankings: Find Value Picks!

First things first, I grabbed a notebook. Yeah, a real, paper notebook. Felt kinda old-school, but it helped me focus. Then, I opened up my laptop and started browsing.

Scouting the Terrain

I needed to get a feel for the landscape. Who’s hyped? Who’s injured? Who’s got a new quarterback throwing to them? All that good stuff. I spent a good few hours just reading articles, player profiles, and, of course, the inevitable hot takes on social media.

Building My Base

Next, I decided to create my own spreadsheet. Because, why not? I love a good spreadsheet. I started listing out players by position: QBs, RBs, WRs, TEs, even kickers (don’t judge!).

I made some space to record some key points about their performance and some notes for me.

  • Column 1: Player Name (obviously)
  • Column 2: Position
  • Column 3: Projected Points (I used a couple of different sources for this)
  • Column 4: last year Points
  • Column 5: My Gut Feeling (very scientific, I know)
  • Column 6: Notes(Injuries, new team and etc.)

The Ranking Grind

This is where the real work began. I started comparing players within their positions. It is tough.I had to make some tough calls!

It took me a few days, honestly. Lots of coffee, lots of second-guessing, and lots of rearranging. But eventually, I had something that resembled a ranking system. It’s not perfect, but it’s mine. And it’s based on more than just a website’s top 100 list.

Final Thoughts (For Now)

So, that’s my process. It’s ongoing, of course. I’ll keep tweaking these rankings as we get closer to the season, and I’ll definitely be adjusting them throughout the year. Fantasy football is a marathon, not a sprint, right? This is just my way of trying to get a head start. Good luck, and may your teams be stacked!
