Alright, so I’ve been digging into this whole fantasy baseball thing, trying to figure out who the best players are. It’s a bit of a rabbit hole, let me tell you.
First, I started by looking at starting pitchers. Everyone says they’re super important, so I figured I should focus on them first. I spent hours looking at different websites and articles, trying to make sense of all the stats. It was a bit overwhelming, not gonna lie.
Find The Right Experts
Then I stumbled upon this one website, FantasyPros. They had a bunch of experts, and their articles were actually pretty fun to read. They helped me understand some of the basic stuff. I felt like I was finally getting somewhere. I started making a list of all the top-rated pitchers, feeling pretty good about myself.

Top Players in 2025?
But then things got a little tricky. I found some articles about players who are supposed to be really good… but not until 2025. What am I supposed to do with that? I need players for this year! I guess it’s good to know for the future, but it didn’t really help me right now. I did try to read some articles about the game’s top projected hitting prospects by peak wRC+. But it was a little too complicated for me. I got lost and felt stupid.
So I took a break. It had been a few months since I started this whole thing, and I was feeling a bit lost. I decided to go back to the basics. I looked at some more articles, and I kept reminding myself that this is supposed to be fun. I’m not trying to become a pro analyst or anything. Just wanted to do better in my league this year.
After taking some time off, I felt a bit better. I went back to my list of pitchers, and I started looking at some of the other positions too. I realized I had been so focused on pitchers that I had kind of ignored everyone else.
It’s still a work in progress, but I feel like I’m finally starting to get a handle on this whole fantasy baseball thing. I’ve got a decent list of players, and I’m actually kind of excited for the season to start. We’ll see how it goes, but I’m feeling pretty optimistic. I hope this doesn’t turn out to be a huge waste of time!
