Okay, so I’ve been getting really into fantasy football lately, and I wanted to share my experience with figuring out my top picks. It’s been a wild ride, let me tell you!

First, I dug into some research. I mean, I went deep. I looked at all sorts of websites and articles.
Then, I started making lists. Lots of lists. I had lists of players by position, lists of players by projected points, even lists of players based on how much I liked their team logos. (Don’t judge, it’s part of my process!).
My Selection Process
- Narrowed it down. I took those massive lists and started crossing names off. It was tough, like choosing between your favorite children… if your children were all incredibly talented athletes.
- Considered the Bye Weeks. This is a big one! You don’t want all your star players to be off on the same week. I made sure to spread out my picks so I wouldn’t be totally screwed during those bye weeks.
- Looked at Injury History. It’s not so good to pick the players with injury history. I had to be realistic.
- Thought about team changes. I am sure I took these into my consideration.
After all that work, I finally had my top picks! It felt great to have a solid list of players I felt confident about. Of course, fantasy football is unpredictable. So, I know I’ll have to make adjustments along the way. But for now, I’m feeling pretty good about my team!
This whole process was a bit of a learning curve. I made some mistakes, sure, but that is how I get the experience. That’s all part of the fun. Now, I want to keep tracking.
