Top Football Fantasy Players This Year: Whos Hot and Whos Not (Fantasy Football Draft Picks)

Okay, so, let’s talk about fantasy football, yeah? I’ve been into it for a few years now, and it’s a blast. This year, I decided to really dig in and try to figure out who the top players were gonna be. It’s not as easy as it sounds, let me tell you!

Top Football Fantasy Players This Year: Whos Hot and Whos Not (Fantasy Football Draft Picks)

First thing I did was start looking at the usual places. You know, those big sports websites and the fantasy football pages. Everyone was saying that Christian McCaffrey was the guy to grab first. Makes sense, right? The dude’s a beast. But then it got tricky. Who to pick second? CeeDee Lamb was looking good, he was a stud last year.

So, I found some rankings – they seemed pretty decent. Then I started to make my own list.

  • Looked at who was doing well last year.
  • Checked out which players were on what teams and whether or not they were gonna get a lot of play time.
  • Tried to see who was getting older and who was just coming up.

It was a lot to think about. I’ve got these names: Jayden Daniels, Lamar Jackson, Baker Mayfield, Joe Burrow – all these guys are supposed to be pretty good, I’ve read about them everywhere.

Then I jumped into a few of the fantasy football communities online. Lots of debates going on there! People talking about their strategies, who they were targeting, who they were avoiding. It was a bit overwhelming, but I soaked it up like a sponge. There was a list with 218 Top Ranked NFL Fantasy Players, which I guess is a good one.

I also started reading some analysis articles. I mean, I really went down the rabbit hole. There are guys out there breaking down matchups, predicting game flow, you name it. One guy, Nick Mariano, he was talking about MVP picks, rookies, all that stuff.

Made My Own Rankings

Finally, after all that, I put together my own rankings. I figured it couldn’t hurt, right? Maybe I’d see something the “experts” missed. It was tough, but I felt pretty good about it in the end. And you know what? It actually helped! I ended up doing pretty well in my league. Not first place or anything, but definitely better than I have in the past. That’s why I will keep doing this next year and get first place!
