Okay, so here’s the deal, folks. I’ve been messing around with this fantasy football thing for a while now, and with the 2024 season just around the corner, I figured I’d share my thoughts on who I think are gonna be the top 10 players.

First off, I spent a good chunk of time just looking at all sorts of articles and podcasts. There’s this one podcast, “The #1 Fantasy Football Counselor”, where they were talking about breakout players for 2024. That got me thinking, who’s really gonna shine this year?
Then, I went down a rabbit hole, checking out rankings on the NFL’s own fantasy site. Seeing those lists, you know, with names like Brandon Allen and Josh Allen at the top, really got me brainstorming. But it wasn’t just about who’s already a big name. I started digging into something called “Expected Fantasy Points” and “Fantasy Points Over Expected”. Basically, it’s about figuring out who’s gonna get a ton of chances and who’s actually gonna do something with those chances, which could lead to big points.
After that, I started making my own list, jotting down names and thinking about my own draft strategy. It’s not just about picking the obvious stars. It is about finding those players who might be undervalued but could totally explode.
My Top 10 (In No Particular Order)
- Christian McCaffrey – The guy’s a beast, no explanation needed.
- Justin Jefferson – Wide receiver gold, always consistent.
- CeeDee Lamb – Another receiver who I think is gonna have a massive year.
- Bijan Robinson – I have a feeling about this guy, a real dark horse.
- Ja’Marr Chase – Another star receiver, can’t go wrong.
- Amon-Ra St. Brown – Might be a steal depending on where he’s drafted.
- Austin Ekeler – Another running back.
- Breece Hall – A solid running back who is going to have a great year.
- Tyreek Hill – Another wide receiver, the guy’s just so quick, I think he’ll be near the top again.
- Travis Kelce – A great Tight end.
This whole process, it’s been a mix of gut feelings and, you know, just staring at a bunch of numbers. But that’s what makes it fun, right? Anyway, that’s my take on it. Take it with a grain of salt, of course. It’s all just a bit of fun in the end.
