Teams at Myrtle Beach Basketball Tournament 2025? Find Your Favorites Here!

So you know how I always get hyped for hoops season? Well yesterday I was scrolling on my phone and saw folks buzzing about next year’s Myrtle Beach basketball tournament. Figured why not check which teams are coming since my buddies keep asking.

The Search Begins

First thing I did? Grabbed my laptop at the kitchen table – coffee’s a must, obviously. Typed in that tournament name straight into the search bar. Knew the organizers usually post team lists pretty early.

Hitting “Enter” got me to the main tournament page. Kinda basic design honestly, but whatever. Spotted the “Teams” section right at the top. Here’s where it got frustrating though. Clicked the link expecting one huge list… but nada. Just a few featured teams and a promise the “full list coming soon”. Ugh. Total tease.

Digging Deeper

Wasn’t ready to give up. Scrolled down the page real slow. Squinted at everything. Then I saw it – a tiny box labeled “Participant Tracker” hiding near the registration info. Thought it might be useless, but clicked anyway.

Took me straight into a loading screen for like 10 seconds – felt longer. Then boom! A live updating list started filling in. Teams popping up one after another:

  • The Coastal Ballers confirmed!
  • Lowcountry Hoopers locked in
  • Palmetto Vipers showing green checkmark
  • Upstate Thunder – yep, registered
  • More college prep squads loading…

Started getting excited seeing big regional names I recognized. Some surprises too – never expected the Mid-Atlantic Kings to travel that far south!

Making Sense of It

That tracker page wasn’t perfect. Teams seemed random, not alphabetical or by division. Had to hunt a bit for my nephew’s team. Searched their name and thankfully got a green “REGISTERED” tag next to them. Phew. Almost missed it.

Bookmarked that tracker page fast. Already told my group chat where to look. Seriously, that hidden tracker is the only place with the most up-to-date, confirmed teams right now. Don’t waste time elsewhere.

Now I’m just watching that list grow. Should be wild seeing who else jumps in! Let me know if your favorites show up.
