Spring Lake Park Football Tickets Where to Buy Game Entry

Got word the Spring Lake Park High varsity game was coming up next weekend and figured I needed tickets early. Last year? Missed half the first quarter stuck in the ticket line, freezing my tail off. Not doing that again.

The Ticket Hunt Begins

First stop? Team website. Seemed obvious. Poked around for maybe twenty minutes straight. Nothing. Zilch. Just schedules and player stats. Felt kinda stupid after that. Figured maybe they just haven’t posted the ticket link yet? Decided to try the old-fashioned way.

Heard some folks mention tickets sometimes pop up at local businesses sponsoring the team. Went downtown Tuesday morning. Hit up the hardware store first. Guy behind the counter looked confused. “Tickets? Nah, we don’t sell ’em here.” Tried the big grocery store next – heard they had a community board. Found flyers for lost cats and piano lessons, but no football tickets.

Finding the Source

Wednesday rolls around, getting a little antsy. Pulled out the phone. Texted Dave – his kid plays JV. Asked him straight, “Yo, where you grabbing tickets for varsity?” Couple hours later, buzz. “Athletic office at the high school, during school hours. Box office window by the main gym.” Felt like I cracked a secret code.

Thursday after lunch, drove over to Spring Lake Park High. Parked. Walked around the building feeling kinda lost. Saw a door labeled “Athletic Office“. Ding ding ding! Walked in, lady behind the counter was super helpful.

  • “Yep, tickets are for sale right here.”
  • “Cash or Card? Both work.”
  • “$7 per adult.”

Pulled out my wallet, went for the card. Swipe. Declined?! Gotta love technology. Swipe again. Nada. Tried chip this time – sweet relief, transaction went through. Got two physical tickets shoved into my hand. Little paper rectangles felt like gold.

So What’s the Verdict?

Forget hunting online or guessing at stores. It’s a trip to the school athletic office if you want game entry this season. Plan for it during school hours, preferably like 10 AM to 2 PM when they seem consistently open. Bring both cash and a card just in case the machine gets grumpy again. That little detour saved me from another frigid line nightmare. Looking forward to actually enjoying kickoff warm!
