Okay, so, I’ve been trying to rock this lavender tennis skirt, and let me tell you, it’s been a bit of a journey. I mean I just want to change my dressing styles, but I don’t know what to wear to match with the skirt. I’ve spent hours in front of the mirror, trying on different things to get some ideas.

Rocking the Lavender Tennis Skirt: Tips and Tricks for Choosing the Right One for You

First, I grabbed a bunch of tops from my closet. I tried on a cozy sweater because it’s still a bit chilly out. It’s this soft, cashmere one, and it felt super comfy, but it didn’t quite match the vibe of the skirt. I put on a medium, but it wasn’t quite right. Maybe a bigger size would give that oversized look, but it still wasn’t what I was going for.

  • Tried a cozy sweater (cashmere, size M) – felt comfy but didn’t match the skirt’s vibe.
  • Considered sizing up for an oversized look, but it wasn’t the right fit.

Then, I moved on to cardigans. I’ve got a few classic ones, you know, the kind that gives off that “old money” aesthetic. I paired them with the skirt, and it was a bit better, but still not quite there. The colors weren’t bad, and I thought it could work, but then I was like, how about I try matching the colors of my top and the skirt to make it look like a tennis dress? That was a bit of a fail.

After that, I rummaged through my drawers for some long-sleeved blouses. And I did find something useful, it looked pretty cute and spring-like, but the colors looked too common to me. I mean, I just don’t want to see my dressing style at some random person when I’m on the street.

  • Experimented with classic cardigans for an “old money” look – colors were okay, but it wasn’t perfect.
  • Attempted to create a tennis dress look by matching top and skirt colors – didn’t really work out.
  • Tried on long-sleeved blouses – cute and spring-like, but not my unique style.

I even tried to get creative and match the colors of the top and skirt to make it look like a tennis dress, but it just ended up looking a bit off. It’s like, I love the idea of a tennis dress, but I also want the freedom to mix and match different pieces. Then, I realized that some tennis skirts have pockets, which is kind of cool and convenient. I checked mine, and oh, my gosh! There are really two pockets in there, I can put my phone and some changes in there, that’s so amazing!

I’m still on the hunt for the perfect outfit, but I guess that’s part of the fun, right? It’s all about experimenting and finding what works for you. So yeah, that’s where I’m at with my lavender tennis skirt adventure. I guess I should go to the mall on the weekend to check out more styles.
