Alright, so my kid’s been obsessed with Pitt State baseball since we caught a game last spring. When their 2025 schedule dropped, I figured I’d make a cheat sheet of can’t-miss dates. Grabbed my coffee and plopped down at the kitchen table to sort this out.
First Things First
Opened up the Pittsburg State Athletics site on my phone while scribbling notes on a napkin – classy, I know. Noticed they shuffled the conference lineup this year. Zoomed in on those MIAA matchups ’cause conference play always gets spicy. Highlighted every weekend series with a dorky yellow marker – my dog tried chewing it later.
Picking the Big Ones
Went straight for rivalry games. Missouri Southern at home on March 29th – circled that twice. Those games turn into battlegrounds! Also flagged April 12th against Central Missouri ’cause they’ve crushed us three seasons straight. Time for payback, right?
Checked travel plans too. Made sure to include when nearby teams visit so folks from KC or Joplin could road trip easily. My buddy Jim from Wichita called halfway through this, ranting about parking. Added a note saying get there early for weekend games after hearing him complain.
Finalizing My Hit List

Took a pic of my scribbled napkin for Instagram. Post blew up faster than a bench-clearing brawl – apparently everyone wanted this! My takeaway? Never underestimate baseball moms needing schedule help. Got twelve texts thanking me. Next project: mapping best nacho stands at Al Ortolani Field.
