Okay, so I wanted to get a jump on planning some watch parties for NFL Week 13. You know, figure out who’s playing who, what times the games are on, maybe even get a head start on the snack menu. Here’s how I went about it:

First, I needed to find the schedule. My go-to move is usually just a quick search, so I fired up my browser and typed in something like “NFL Week 13 schedule”. I could have looked many places but I know what I wanted specifically.
I skipped right over the ads(we all do!). Found a result and clicked it. Boom! Right there was a nice, clean list of all the games for Week 13.
The layout was pretty straightforward. I could easily see:
- Teams playing: Obvious, but important! I needed to know the matchups.
- Dates and times: Gotta know when to tune in, right? They usually have the times listed in Eastern Time, so I always have to do a quick mental conversion to my time zone.
- TV channels: It is good to know the network, especially for friends.
I went ahead and jotted down the games I was most interested in. My team plays on Sunday afternoon, so I made sure to highlight that one. There’s also a decent Thursday night game I want to catch.
Once I had my personal “must-watch” list, I started thinking about logistics. For the Sunday game, I’m gonna have some friends over. So, I made a note to text everyone and see who’s available. Then I started brainstorming some food ideas. Gotta have wings, of course, but maybe I’ll also do some chili or a big sub sandwich.
For the Thursday night game, I’ll probably just keep it low-key. Maybe order a pizza, relax on the couch, and enjoy the game by myself. It’s a good way to unwind after a long day.
What I got
Basically, by spending just a few minutes checking out the schedule, I got a good handle on my NFL viewing plans for Week 13. I’m all set for some football action, and I even have a rough idea of the food situation. Can’t wait for kickoff!
