Okay, so, I dove into this whole “NFL draft fantasy” thing, and let me tell you, it’s a wild ride. I started off pretty clueless, just picking names I recognized. Big mistake, huge! You really gotta do your research.

I started by looking up some articles about sleeper picks and some tips, the most popular names were already taken by the time I got around to drafting. Ended up with a team that was, uh, let’s just say “eclectic.”
The first few rounds, I did okay. I picked up some solid wide receivers and a decent running back. But then, things got tricky. I waited too long to grab a quarterback, and all the top guys were gone.
- Then I tried to focus on positions – wide receivers, running backs first, then tight end, defense, kicker, and finally quarterback.
- I learned that this approach is common.
- I also found out Christian McCaffrey is a big deal, the top pick.
So I ended up taking a chance on this rookie QB, Will Levis. Apparently, he showed some promise last year, and the team made some changes that might help him out. He is marked with a “Zz” icon on my draft cheat sheet. It’s a gamble, but hey, that’s part of the fun, right?
I used this website called “Sleeper” to set up my league. It’s actually pretty cool. You can customize a bunch of stuff, way more than other sites I’ve seen. Setting everything up was super easy, and managing my team is a breeze, so that’s a plus.
Overall, it was a learning experience. I definitely made some mistakes, but I also learned a lot. Next year, I’m coming in prepared. I’m gonna research those rookies, figure out which positions to prioritize, and maybe, just maybe, I won’t end up with the worst team in the league. Fingers crossed!
