Okay, so I decided to dive into the 2024 NFL Combine results today. I’ve always been kind of a stats nerd, especially when it comes to football, so this felt right up my alley.

Getting Started
First, I pulled up the NFL website, because, duh, where else would I go? I was specifically interested in seeing all the raw data, not just the top performers that everyone always talks about.
Digging In
I wanted to see everything – 40-yard dash times, bench press reps, vertical jump heights, everything.
I spent a good chunk of time just scrolling through the list of players. I organized them by event, making it easier to compare. It was fascinating to see the range of abilities, even among these elite athletes.
- I started with the 40-yard dash. That’s always the big one everyone cares about, right?
- Then I looked the bench press. Just insane how much some of these guys can lift.
- Next up was the vertical jump.
- After that, I checked out the broad jump, 3-cone drill, and shuttle run times.
Making Sense of It All
After I gathered all the data, I really wanted to find a way to visualize it. Simply, I could easily compare the players’ performances across different drills.
The Final Product
The data itself is pretty straightforward, but it’s still cool to see it all.
It’s not ground breaking, but it was a fun way to spend a few hours and feed my inner football nerd.
