Okay, so I was trying to figure out who this New Balance company is sponsoring in the tennis world. I know they’re big in other sports, but tennis? I had to dig in.
First, I started by jotting down some names I already knew were associated with New Balance. You know, like the big shots in basketball Kawhi Leonard and the music guy, Jaden Smith. Then I remembered they’re also into track and field with Sydney McLaughlin and soccer with Sadio Mane. Not tennis though, so I kept going.
Next, I started searching specifically for tennis players sponsored by New Balance. And guess what? I hit the jackpot! Coco Gauff, the young star who won her first Grand Slam title at the US Open, she’s with New Balance! It looks like she’s a pretty big deal for them since she has her own signature shoe line and all.

Then I found out about Tommy Paul, who apparently made it to the semi-finals in Australia. He’s another American player on their team. These two seem to be their main stars in tennis. At least the big name I know now.
I also read about a recent commercial. There was also a commercial spot that features Coco Gauff. I also learned that there are other athletes included like Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone, Jamal Murray, Tyrese Maxey, Bukayo Saka.
So there you have it. New Balance is definitely making a push in tennis, focusing on these up-and-coming American players. It’s pretty cool to see them branching out and supporting different sports. I’ll be keeping an eye on Gauff and Paul to see how they do with the New Balance gear. It’s always fun to see new sponsorships and how they play out in the sports world.
