Okay, so today I was checking out this thing called FantasyPros for my fantasy football league. It’s supposed to be the best, so I wanted to see what it’s all about.

First off, I went to their website. They’ve got a ton of stuff there, but I just wanted to get the basics down for now. I mainly needed some rankings to get a better idea of who to draft.
I started by looking at their expert consensus rankings. It’s basically a list of players ranked by a bunch of different fantasy football experts. They rate these experts on how accurate they’ve been in the past, which is pretty cool. It’s supposed to help you figure out who’s actually worth listening to. They said they’ve got over a hundred experts on there, so that’s a lot of opinions to consider.
Next, I messed around with their Draft Wizard tool. This thing is supposed to help you with your draft. It gives you a cheat sheet that’s customized to your league’s settings. It’s got accurate cheat sheets. I guess it pulls in data from all those experts and their accuracy ratings. I messed around with it for a bit. I tried it out for a mock draft, and it seemed to work pretty well, giving me suggestions based on who was still available and what my team needed.
Then I saw they have a Chrome extension. I figured, why not, so I added it to my browser. It seems pretty useful. It gives you all these expert rankings and advice right there on your draft page. I gotta say, that is handy.
My Experience
- Checked out the website: Lots of tools and info, but the expert consensus rankings were what I needed most.
- Tried the Draft Wizard: Did a mock draft, and it seemed pretty solid for getting personalized draft advice.
- Installed the Chrome extension: This is a game-changer for getting quick access to expert advice during the draft.
Overall, FantasyPros seems like it could be super helpful. They claim to publish millions of pieces of fantasy content each week, all aimed at helping you win. I don’t know about all that, but the tools I tried out were definitely useful. I’m going to keep using it and see if it actually helps me win my league this year. If it does, I’ll be back to tell you all about it!
But let’s be real, I have been playing fantasy football for years, and no matter how much research you do, there’s always that element of luck. You can have the best draft in the world, but if your star player gets injured week one, well, you’re kind of screwed. So, we’ll see how it goes. Wish me luck!
