Okay, so I wanted to play some tennis at Cheviot Hills. I’ve heard good things about the courts there, so I figured I’d give it a shot. First thing I did was try to figure out how to book a court. Turns out, it’s all done online now, which is pretty convenient, I guess.

I went ahead and tried to find their booking site. Took a bit of poking around, but I finally found the right place. You gotta make an account first, which is a bit of a pain, but whatever. Filled out all the info, email, password, the usual stuff.
Once I got my account set up, I started looking for an open court. They have this calendar view, which is nice. You can see all the courts and what times are available. I was looking for a court on Saturday afternoon, and luckily, there were a few open spots.
Choosing a Court
Now, there are quite a few courts at Cheviot Hills. I didn’t really know which one to pick, but they had numbers next to them. I just picked one that was open during the time I wanted, court number 5. Seemed as good as any.
After I picked the court and time, I had to pay. It was like 8 bucks an hour, which isn’t too bad, I suppose. Put in my credit card info, hit submit, and boom, court booked.
Confirmation
Right after I paid, I got a confirmation email. It had all the details, court number, time, date. Also had some rules and stuff, like wear proper shoes, don’t be a jerk, you know, the usual.
- Showed up on Saturday.
- Checked in at the little office.
- The guy there pointed me to court number 5.
The courts were in pretty good shape. Had a good time playing. Overall, booking was pretty straightforward. A little bit of a hassle to make an account, but once that was done, it was smooth sailing. If you’re looking for a court in the area, Cheviot Hills seems like a solid option.
