I found this free mock draft simulator thing online, which seemed like a good place to start. No need to spend any money, and I could get the hang of how these drafts work. It’s not like I’m some expert or anything.
Getting into the Draft
I jumped into a mock draft and let me tell you, it was kind of intense, even though it wasn’t real. There’s this timer ticking down, and you gotta make your picks before it runs out. Talk about pressure!
- I picked some players I recognized, some I’d heard good things about, and a few that were just wild guesses.
- I tried to build a balanced team, you know, not just all power hitters or all speedsters.

After the Draft
When it was all over, I looked at my team and thought, “Hey, this isn’t half bad!” It’s probably not going to win any championships, but for a first try, I was pretty happy.
