Okay y’all, remember last week when Kevin finally made the Liberty Middle School football team? Super proud mom moment, obviously. But then I realized I had zero clue when his actual games were or how to watch them. Major headache right there. Figured I’d document my hunt for anyone else stuck in the same boat.
Starting Point: Pure Panic Mode
First thing I did? Grabbed my phone and just typed “Liberty Middle School football games” into Google. Total garbage results. Old news articles, maybe? Or stuff about other “Liberty” schools hundreds of miles away. Useless.
Step 1: Hitting Up Social Media
Next stop was Facebook. Searched the school name. Found the official Liberty Middle School page. Awesome! Scrolled down… and down… and down. Annnnnd nothing about football. Saw some chatter in a local parents’ group – mostly people asking the same question I had! No actual answers. Super frustrating.
Step 2: Scouring the Official School Website
Okay, time to go straight to the source. Pulled up the school website. Menu? Calendar? Checked the ‘athletics’ section first. Found a list of sports… Football was listed! Clicked… Boom. Just a generic page about tryouts last year. Sigh.
Went back to the main calendar. Filtered by ‘athletics’. There they were! “Football Game vs. Oakridge”, “Football Game vs. Pine Valley”… YES! But… wait. No times. Seriously? Just the dates. Better than nothing, but not great.
Step 3: The Magic Flyer & The District Clue
Later that night, Kevin remembered the coach handed them a flyer after practice. Digging through his messy backpack confirmed it! Flyer had specific game times listed for the first four games. Hallelujah! It also had a small note: “Watch live streams via the county activities channel”.
That was the clue I needed. Went back online, but this time searched for our school district name plus “athletics calendar”. Jackpot! Found the official district athletics page. Navigated to middle schools, then Liberty.

Where to Watch?
Remembering that “county activities channel” note, I poked around on the district athletics page footer. Found a section called “Livestream Central”. Clicked it. Required an account signup – pretty quick, just name and email. Confirmed email… boom. Saw that Liberty MS games stream live under the “Middle School Athletics” section during game times. They also archive them! Huge win for grandparents who can’t make it.
So yeah. Took way longer than it should have – gotta say, the school site search thing is still kinda pathetic. But between that crumpled flyer and digging deep into the district site, we got the full picture! Kevin’s first game is next Friday at 5 PM. See ya there!
