Getting Started With My Baseball Research
I knew y’all would want the Knights schedule early, so I grabbed my laptop right after morning coffee. Straight up typed “Knights 2025 baseball dates” into the search bar. First couple sites were trash – outdated rosters or just promotional junk. Found this official league page but man, that thing was buried under ticket sale popups.

The Clicking Marathon
Started digging through dropdown menus like a squirrel hunting nuts. Sports sites always make simple info complicated. Clicked “SEASONS” ➝ scrolled past 2024 ➝ found 2025 hiding behind some ad banner. Whole screen flashed purple when some video ad auto-played. Almost smashed my mouse when another popup blocked the view.
Untangling The Calendar Mess
Finally hit the schedule page and holy moly – it was formatted worse than my grocery list! All these symbols and abbreviations:
- AWAY games marked with suitcase icons
- HOME games showing that ugly stadium pic
- Rain dates in stupid blinking red text
Had to cross-reference with last year’s calendar app just to make sense of the double-headers.
Reality Check Time
Printed out three copies (printer jammed once) and taped one to my fridge with pizza magnets. Checked my vacation days against the June homestand – family trip conflicts with Cardinals series. Made a note to reschedule dentist appointment during that April road trip week.
Final Presentation Prep
Rewrote the whole schedule by hand in my journal. Drew little baseball doodles for weekend games and added snack ideas for each matchup:
- Vs Pirates: Loaded nachos
- At Cubs: Deep dish delivery
- Doubleheaders: Double coffee supply
Took photos of my messy handwritten pages for the blog post. Ink smudges on June dates? Authenticity baby.
The Big Takeaway
Never trusting auto-import features again after last year’s sync disaster. That app deleted our July 4th game! This time I’m keeping physical copies everywhere – wallet, car visor, even inside my baseball hat. Saw the whole damn season blueprint in my head like a movie. Now bring on opening day already!
