Okay, folks, let’s dive into my little adventure with fantasy football mock drafts today.

So, I’ve been getting ready for my fantasy football league, and you know what that means: mock drafts! It’s that time of year again, and I wanted to get some practice in before the real deal.
Getting Started
First things first, I jumped onto one of those fantasy football * are many websites, but I have my preferred one.
Then I found their mock draft lobby. Easy peasy.
The Draft Room
Once I joined a mock draft, I was in the virtual “draft room.” A bunch of other people were in there too, some were probably real, some were bots, who knows.
I was randomly assigned a draft position. I got the 5th pick in a 12-team league. Not bad, not bad.
Making My Picks
The draft started, and the clock was ticking! When it was my turn, I had to make some quick decisions.
- Round 1: I was eyeing a top running back.I ended up with a solid RB1.
- Round 2: Went with a Wide receiver, secure and reliable.
- Rounds 3-5: Tried to balance my team. Got another WR, and a TE.
- Later Rounds: Here’s where it gets tricky. I grabbed a quarterback, and then started looking for value picks.
The Auto-Pick Struggle
Had to step away for a minute and that dang system auto-picked for me! Not the players I *’s the danger of mock drafts, I guess. You gotta stay glued to the screen.
Post-Draft Thoughts
After the mock draft was over,I created my lineup based on the mock draft players.
It gave me a good feel for different draft strategies, like whether to go heavy on running backs early or wait on a * in all, a good way to spend an hour or so. It’s all about getting those reps in before the real draft!
