Get Your nfl fantasy football draft list: Cheat Sheet for 2024!

Alright, so fantasy football season is upon us, and like every year, I’m determined to finally dominate my league. This year, I decided I’m not going to just wing it. Nope, I’m going in prepared. My mission? To craft the ultimate fantasy football draft list.

First, I grabbed my laptop and a big ol’ cup of coffee. Gotta have fuel for this kind of operation, you know? Then, I started hitting up all the usual suspect websites. You know the ones I’m talking about.

My initial approach was simple. I just started jotting down names. Big names, obvious names, anyone who I thought had a decent shot at putting up points. I had this massive, sprawling list that quickly got out of hand. I mean, it was just a jumbled mess of players with no real rhyme or reason.

Organizing the Chaos

So, step two was to get organized. I knew I needed to break things down by position. That was a no-brainer: Quarterbacks, Running Backs, Wide Receivers, Tight Ends, Kickers, and Defense/Special Teams. Easy enough.

I created separate lists for each position. Then came the real work: ranking them. This is where things got tricky. I started looking at last year’s stats, trying to figure out who overperformed, who underperformed, and who was just plain lucky (or unlucky!).

I spent a good chunk of time just staring at numbers, comparing player stats, and trying to project how they’d do this season. It’s like trying to predict the weather, honestly. You can look at all the data, but sometimes a hurricane just comes out of nowhere.

My next big brainwave. I remembered, sleeper picks! Those under-the-radar guys who could explode and win you your * I made another list, dedicated just to potential sleepers.

The Final Product

Finally, after hours of work I combined all my separate lists into one master document. Each position is ranked, with notes next to players I’m particularly high or low on. I printed this beautiful thing out, all color-coded and ready to go.

Will this list guarantee me a championship? Probably not. But I feel way more prepared than I have in past years. It’s all about putting in the work, right? Now, let’s just hope I don’t have any last-minute panic attacks during the draft and throw the whole thing out the window!
