My Hunt for the LSU Baseball Schedule
So yesterday I was drinking coffee thinking ‘man, I wanna plan my weekends around LSU baseball games next year’. Got my phone out, pulled up the browser and searched for the printable schedule. First results were messy – couldn’t even find the official page. Finally found the right one after three tries.

On the Computer First
Decided to try my laptop since the screen’s bigger. Found the schedule page, scrolled down like crazy through photos and player bios. Saw a tiny ‘printable version’ button almost hidden. Clicked it and whoosh – a PDF opened! Used that little save icon that looks like a floppy disk. Saved it to my downloads folder where it gets lost forever.
Phone Problems Started
Later at the grocery line, thought I’d grab it on my phone too. Went to the exact same site. PDF loaded but no save option anywhere! Tapped around like mad. Finally pressed and held the PDF link until a menu popped up. Hit ‘download’ and it worked! But then realized I didn’t know where downloads go on this stupid phone.
Finding the Dang File
Opened my files app thinking it’d be obvious. Nope! Went through ‘recent files’, nothing. Checked ‘downloads’ folder – bingo! There it was between cat memes and gas receipts. Showed it to my wife like I’d discovered gold.
The Final Trick
Wanted actual paper copies too. For computer printing – easy peasy. Phone printing was another beast. Tapped the share icon and scrolled through endless options until I found the printer name. Changed layout to landscape so it doesn’t get cut off. Listened to that sweet printer sound doing its thing. Now I got it everywhere – computer, phone and fridge magnet.
Whole thing took longer than watching an extra innings game. Pro tip? Use that long-press trick on phones – game changer! Now if only baseball tickets were this easy to get.
