Okay, so I’ve been messing around with this fantasy football thing, trying to rank players and all that jazz. It’s way harder than I thought it would be, honestly.

First, I started by scouring the internet for any rankings I could find. I checked out a bunch of different sites, you know, the usual ones everyone talks about. I was basically trying to get a feel for how others were doing it. They always talked about some public leagues, I think that’s a good idea. I spent hours just reading and taking notes.
- Dived into a few expert rankings.
- Compared their lists to see who they rated highly and who they didn’t.
- Noted down some of the most accurate rankings.
Then, I tried to make my own list. I looked at which players were on which teams, who was injured, who was getting a lot of playtime, and all that stuff. I even tried to figure out who was getting older and might not be as good anymore, and who was new and might be really good. A lot of guess-work, to be honest. They have a lot of scoring formats, it confused me at first. But I get the point.
I also checked out some stats, like who’s been doing really well in the past few weeks. There was this one site that showed the top performers for like, the last three weeks. That was pretty helpful, I guess. I have to prepare, to do research, that’s what those experts said. This website has different rankings for different categories, they are updated every day, that’s cool.
Doing My Own Research
After all that, I realized I needed to do my own research. So, I started watching games, keeping track of players, and just trying to get a better feel for who was actually good. It’s a lot of work, but it’s kinda fun, too. I became a real fan, watching these games every week. Man, I even yelled at the TV a few times!
I’m still not sure if my rankings are any good, but I’m learning a lot. It’s definitely more complicated than just picking names out of a hat. But this one expert talked about consistency, I think I should follow that. I feel like I’m getting a little better each week, though. I just keep watching those games, you know.
