Okay, so, I wanted to get ahead of the game for the 2024 fantasy football season. You know, start planning early and all that. First thing I did was jump online and start looking at what the so-called “experts” were saying. I checked out a bunch of sites, places like FantasyPros, you know, where they pull together advice from a ton of different people.

Fantasy Football Predictions 2024: Snag These Sleepers and Dominate Your League - Expert Picks!

I also spent some time on ESPN and Yahoo Fantasy Football. I was reading up on their articles, checking out player rankings, and just trying to get a general feel for who’s expected to be good this year. It’s a lot to take in, all these different opinions and projections.

Then, I got into the fun part – mock drafts. I used this simulator, I think it was called FantasySP, or something like that. Anyway, it lets you run through a whole draft, pick by pick, just like the real thing. I set it up for a 12-team league, 17 rounds, you know, trying to keep it realistic. It’s actually kind of addictive, doing these mock drafts. You can tweak the settings, try out different strategies, see how different scenarios might play out.

I even did a few drafts with this other tool that lets you draft against these, like, simulated opponents. It’s supposed to be more realistic than just drafting by yourself. I played around with different league settings, trying to get a feel for how different rules might affect my draft strategy.

It’s a lot of work, going through all this, but I find it really helpful. By the time the actual draft rolls around, I’ll have a good idea of which players I want to target, who might be overvalued or undervalued, and what my overall strategy should be. Plus, it’s just fun to get all hyped up for the season. Also, I checked some tips from a guy called Graham Barfield, it seems he shared some useful stats for players, which are very helpful.

Here is the list about some players I think might be good in 2024, and some of them maybe are not very popular now:

  • Quarterbacks
    • C.J. Stroud
    • Justin Herbert
  • Running Backs
    • Christian McCaffrey
    • Jonathan Taylor
  • Wide Receivers
    • Justin Jefferson
    • CeeDee Lamb
  • Tight Ends
    • Travis Kelce
    • George Kittle

Some other thoughts

I will keep doing mock drafts and make some adjustments according to the latest news. Hope I can get a good result in 2024 season.
