Fanstey Football List 2024: Get a Head Start(Must-Have Players for Your Draft Strategy)

Alright, so I decided to get a jump on my fantasy football prep for 2024. I mean, who wants to be scrambling last minute, right? Figured I’d share my little adventure in case it helps anyone else out.

Getting Started

First things first, I needed a game plan. I knew I couldn’t just wing it. So, I grabbed my trusty notebook and pen – yeah, I’m old school like that – and started brainstorming. I thought about the different positions, potential sleepers, the guys coming back from injuries, all that jazz.

Diving into Research

Next up, research time! I started hitting up some of the usual websites. Looked at some early rankings, read a few articles, you know, the typical stuff. I jotted down names that kept popping up, players with promising stats, that kind of thing.

  • Checked out some expert mock drafts.
  • Looked at last year’s stats to see who was killin’ it.
  • Read up on some rookies who might make a splash.

Making My Own Darn List

After I felt like I had a decent handle on things, I started putting together my own preliminary list. This is MY list, based on my gut feeling and what I’d been reading. It is going to change a million times, but it is a good starting point. I broke it down by position, of course:

  • Quarterbacks: I figured out who I wanted to get.
  • Running Backs: Made a note of some guys with a solid workload.
  • Wide Receivers: Looked for those consistent point-getters.
  • Tight Ends: Found a few reliable targets.
  • Kickers & Defense: Decided to find good ones.

Refining and Revising

Now, this is where the real work begins. I’ve got my rough list, but I know it’s gonna need some serious tweaking. I’ll keep watching for news, injuries, training camp battles, all that stuff. And I’ll probably rearrange my list about a hundred times before my actual draft.

So yeah, that’s where I’m at right now. It’s a work in progress, for sure. But hey, getting a head start is half the battle, right? Good luck with your own prep!
