Getting Started
So I needed the 2025 ODU baseball schedule today ’cause my kid’s gonna try out for the team. Figured I should print it out nice and simple to stick on the fridge. Went straight to the ODU athletics website first thing – you know, the usual spot for this stuff.

The Annoying Part
Scrolled around that site like crazy trying to find the baseball section. Men’s teams, women’s teams, dropdown menus… total mess. Finally found it buried under “sports” then “baseball” then “schedule”. But when I clicked, it showed this fancy calendar view with moving graphics and ads everywhere. No way to print that cleanly.
Workaround Time
Noticed a tiny “print schedule” button hiding in the corner – thank goodness! Clicked it and boom… twenty pages of nonsense came up. Team logos, sponsor ads, even nutrition tips crammed in there. This ain’t gonna work for my fridge.
Here’s what I did:
- Copied just the game dates by dragging my mouse over the important bits
- Pasted into a blank document on my computer
- Deleted all the extra junk like ticket links and promotions
- Made the text bigger so my old eyes can read it
- Set margins real narrow to fit everything on one page
Final Touch
Hit print and watched just one clean page come out – dates, opponents, locations, all crystal clear. Stapled it right to the kitchen bulletin board. Took me longer to find the schedule button than to actually fix the dang thing. Moral of the story? Official sites love making simple stuff complicated.
