Alright, guys, so I decided to get serious about my fantasy football league this year. You know, actually try to win instead of just picking players I like. The first step? Getting a solid draft player list together. Here’s how I tackled it:
Figuring Out Where to Start
First, I needed to figure out where to even begin building this list. I’m no expert, just a regular dude, so I had to some digging around and gather information, which is the most important part.
Building My List
I started grabbing names. Lots of names. Then I create the list.
- First things first, I made a simple list. Just players’ names to start.
- Then I started adding positions: QB, RB, WR, TE, K, DEF. Gotta know what I’m drafting, right?
Realizing I Needed More Info
After staring at this massive list of names and positions, I realized I needed way more info to make smart decisions.
- Projected Points: How many points is each player expected to score this season? This is huge.
- Bye Weeks: Can’t have all my star players taking a break at the same time!
- Consistency: A player might have one huge game, but are they going to be good every week?
- Injury History: Don’t want to draft someone who’s always on the injured list.
It’s Geting Messy
I wrote out the draft, and then put them into different categories. It’s getting messy, my table became the battlefield, it’s all about the player list I created!
The Final Result
It took some time, it took some learning. I’m not gonna lie, after spending so many hours on this thing, I finally got a draft list, it looks pretty comprehensive. It’s not just names; it’s got all the info I need to (hopefully) make some winning picks. I’m actually feeling pretty good about my chances this year! Wish me luck!
