Alright, so I decided to get a jump start on my fantasy football prep for this year and what better way to do that than with a mock draft? I mean, it’s never too early to start strategizing, right? So, I hopped online, found a free mock draft lobby, and dove right in.

Getting Started
First things first, I had to choose my draft position. I ended up picking the 5th spot – not my ideal choice, I prefer being either at the very beginning or very end, gives me more control, you know? But hey, gotta work with what you get.
The Thick of It
- Round 1: With the fifth pick, I grabbed one of best player. I was really hoping one top player fall to me, but no such luck.
- Round 2: Okay, time to make a good Pick. I went with a solid player.
- Rounds 3-5: These rounds were all about building a strong foundation. More player. and fill my position.
- Rounds 6-9: Starting to look for some potential breakout candidates. I took a chance on a couple of rookies.
- Rounds 10-15: Filled out the rest of my roster with some depth picks and a few more gambles. You never know who might surprise you! Grabbed my kicker and defense in these later rounds too – gotta have those!
Post-Draft Thoughts
After the draft wrapped up, I took a good look at my team. Honestly, it’s not bad! I think I have a pretty balanced roster, and I’m pretty happy with the value I got in those middle rounds. It made the whole process feel a bit more real and got me thinking about potential strategies for the actual draft.
Of course, it’s just a mock draft, so who knows what’ll actually happen when the real deal comes around. Players will rise and fall, injuries will happen, and all that good stuff. But doing this mock draft definitely helped me get a better feel for the player pool and where I might want to focus my attention. Plus, it was just fun! Now I’m even more hyped for the season to start!
