Best Castle Hill Tennis Courts: What to Know Before You Book a Court.

So, the other day I decided it was time to hit up the tennis courts at Castle Hill. I hadn’t played in ages, and honestly, I was itching to get back out there.

Best Castle Hill Tennis Courts: What to Know Before You Book a Court.

First things first, I had to actually find out where these courts were. A quick search told me they were up at the Castle Hill Showground. I knew that place, just did not know they have tennis courts inside! Figured it couldn’t be too hard to find once I got there.

I packed my old tennis bag, which, let me tell you, had seen better days. Racket, some balls that were probably flat, a water bottle, and a towel – the essentials, right? Drove up to the Showground, and yeah, parking was a bit of a mess, as usual. But hey, I found a spot eventually.

Once I got inside, I had to look around to find the actual courts. There were signs here and there, but they weren’t the best. Then, I saw some people walking with tennis rackets. Followed them. And bam, there were the courts, tucked away in a corner.

There were a few courts, looked pretty decent, all fenced in. I checked out the courts and they were all empty. So I just hopped onto one and started hitting some balls against the wall. Felt good to just whack the ball around, even if I was rusty as heck.

  • Finding the courts: A bit of a scavenger hunt, but not impossible.
  • Courts themselves: They were in a good condition, clean, with lights, all that stuff.
  • Crowd: Not too busy when I went, which was nice. I saw some other folks playing doubles, looked like fun.

After a while, my arm started to feel it. Decided that was enough for my grand tennis comeback. Packed up my stuff, feeling pretty good. It wasn’t the most exciting adventure, but it was definitely nice to get back on the court.

Overall

If you are looking for a place to play tennis and you are nearby, I would say it is a nice place. If you are living far from here, maybe you need to consider again. At least I had fun that day.
