Best 2024 Fantasy Football PPR Rankings and Draft Strategy!

Okay, here’s my attempt at a blog post, following your guidelines, about my experience creating 2024 Fantasy Football PPR Rankings:

Best 2024 Fantasy Football PPR Rankings and Draft Strategy!

Alright, folks, let’s dive into how I cobbled together my 2024 fantasy football PPR rankings. It wasn’t pretty, but it got done. And hopefully, it’ll help you dominate your league!

Getting Started: The Spreadsheet of Doom

First things first, I fired up a good old spreadsheet. Yeah, I know, super exciting. I created a bunch of columns: Player Name, Team, Position, Projected Points, Bye Week, and a few others for notes and stuff.

Gathering the Intel (aka Googling Like Crazy)

Next, I started filling this thing in. I spent hours, and I mean hours, scouring the internet. I looked at expert rankings all of which had slight differences. Also looked at projections, injury reports, team depth charts, you name it. My browser history was basically just a wall of football stats.

  • I started with the obvious studs. You know, the guys everyone knows are going to be good.
  • Then came the hard part: figuring out the mid-round guys. Who’s going to break out? Who’s going to bust? This is where the real digging came in.
  • I paid extra attention to rookies. Some of these guys are going to be league-winners, and I wanted to make sure I didn’t miss any.

The Ranking Process: Gut Feeling Meets Data

With all this info dumped into my spreadsheet, I started the actual ranking. It was a mix of looking at the projected points, considering the player’s situation (new team? new quarterback?), and just going with my gut. Seriously, sometimes you just feel like a guy is going to have a big year.

I went back and forth, moving guys up and down. I argued with myself. I second-guessed myself. It was a whole thing.

Adjusting for PPR: The Reception Obsession

Because these are PPR rankings, I made sure to bump up the guys who catch a lot of passes. Running backs who are also targets in passing game, and, of course, wide receivers, they all got a little boost.

The Final Product: Imperfect, But Mine

Finally, after all that, I had my rankings. Are they perfect? Nope. Will they guarantee you a championship? Probably not. But they’re based on a ton of research, a bit of intuition, and a whole lot of passion for fantasy football.

So, there you have it. That’s how I created my 2024 fantasy football PPR rankings. Now go forth and draft wisely!
