Woke up early thinking about that Razorbacks schedule post I promised you all. Coffee first. Always coffee first. Opened my beat-up laptop while the dog stared at me like I owed him breakfast. Realized I hadn’t actually downloaded the finalized SEC baseball dates yet. Figured it’d be quick. Oh boy.
The Search Begins
Jumped onto Arkansas’ main athletics site. Clicked baseball. Looked everywhere. Found the 2024 schedule staring back at me like some kind of joke. Scrolled, clicked links, got nothing for 2025. Felt my eyebrow starting to twitch.
Hitting Walls
Okay, Plan B. Went straight to SEC conference site. Big banner splash page about basketball championships. Baseball section? Buried deep. Found schedules… saw dates for softball, track, everything but the Hogs baseball conference play. Why?! Got that familiar ‘this is taking too long’ neck ache. Remembered I promised folks this would be up today. No pressure.
Twitter Saves the Day (Sort Of)
Took a deep breath. Fired up my old Twitter account. Searched like crazy:

Scrolled past fan rants about last season and ticket promo ads.
And then I saw it. Some beat reporter, God bless him, retweeted an official PDF link from the UA Athletics department. Didn’t look pretty, didn’t explain anything fancy, just had the dates, opponents, home or away. Exactly what I needed.
Getting It Ready For You
Downloaded the PDF. Tried opening it. Stupid thing asked for my PDF password. Felt like screaming. Grabbed my coffee (cold by now). Typed in every dumb password I could remember. Third try worked. Copied those precious dates out like they were state secrets.

Finally Breathing
Threw it all into my draft post. Added a quick intro about “Saw this late, sources were stubborn, but here it is.” Proofread it once. Hit publish. Leaned back. Dog finally got fed. Coffee replaced. Another day, another Razorback headache saved. Got me thinking… why do they gotta hide this stuff like buried treasure?
