Okay, so today I decided to finally get my act together and start prepping for my fantasy football drafts. It’s 2024, and I’m determined to dominate my leagues this year. PPR (points per reception) is where it’s at, so I needed some solid rankings to guide me.
First, I fired up my trusty laptop. Gotta have the right tools for the job, right? I opened up a few of my go-to fantasy football websites.
Digging into the Data
Next I began browsing different expert rankings to see overall top players list. I also compared different website to see the differnences.

- Compared the rankings on each site. Noticed some slight differences, but the top-tier guys were pretty consistent.
- Started making notes, jotting down names that kept popping up, along with their projected stats.
- Searched a lot.
Making My Own Adjustments
Now, I’m not just going to blindly follow someone else’s list. I’ve been playing fantasy football for years, I have a few strategies. I cross checked my notes from last season and watched highlights of the players.
I looked at things like:
- Team changes: Did a player switch teams? How will that affect their role?
- Injuries: Anyone coming back from a major injury? Might need to be cautious there.
- Offensive schemes: Is the team likely to throw the ball a lot? That’s gold in PPR.
The Final Product (For Now!)
After a few hours of research, I’ve created a preliminary ranking list. I feel much better prepared for my drafts. Of course, things can change, so I’ll keep updating my rankings as we get closer to the season. But for now, I’ve got a solid foundation to work with.
It was a pretty productive day. Now I just need to decide which league to crush first!
