Okay, so I wanted to figure out which NFL receivers had the most drops in the 2022 season. I’m a huge football fan, and this kind of stat always interests me. It’s not always about who’s the best, but who maybe needs to work on their hands a bit!

Getting Started

First, I needed a good source of data. I tried a couple of different sports stats websites, just poking around to see what I could find. You know, just browsing, typing in “NFL receiver drops 2022” and seeing what popped up. Nothing fancy.

Digging into the Data

I eventually found a site that seemed pretty reliable and had the * was neatly organized, which was a huge plus. No point in wasting time on messy data, right?

Once I found the data, here’s basically what I did. I Looked at the list and identified some information.

  • Checked for a “Drops” Column: Obvious, I know, but I needed a specific column listing the number of dropped passes.
  • Sorted it: I sorted to arrange data that I wanted.
  • Looked at the Top Few: I mean, I wasn’t going to analyze every single receiver, right? I focused on the guys at the top of the list (or bottom, depending on how you look at it!).
