So, I’ve been messing around with this whole “mock NFL draft” thing. It sounded kinda fun, right? I’m a big football fan, always yelling at the TV during the actual draft, thinking I know better than the GMs. Figured I’d put my money where my mouth is, so to speak.

My next few mock drafts were way better. Not perfect, but I wasn’t making completely ridiculous picks anymore. I started to get a feel for the flow of the draft, anticipating which players might be available, and even considering potential trades.
It’s still just a game, of course. But it’s a fun way to learn more about the players and the teams. And it definitely gives you a new appreciation for how tough it is to be an NFL general manager. Those guys earn their paychecks.
