Okay, so I’ve been messing around with this whole “draft simulator” thing for the NFL 2024 season. It’s kinda addictive, gotta admit. Here’s how my whole experience went down.

Getting Started
First, I just Googled “draft simulator nfl 2024”. Found a couple of websites that looked alright. I didn’t really know which one to pick, so I just clicked on the first one that popped up.
Once I got on the site, it was pretty straightforward. They had a big button that said “Start Draft” or something like that. So, obviously, I clicked it.
Making My Picks
The simulator threw me right into the first round. I was assigned a random team – I think it was the Cardinals. They had, like, the number 4 pick, which was pretty cool. I was staring at the screen, and all these player names were popping up.
- First Round: Honestly, I was kinda overwhelmed. I recognized a few names, like Marvin Harrison Jr., because, you know, his dad was a legend. So, I ended up picking him. Figured you can’t go wrong with a wide receiver with good genes.
- Second Round: This is where it got tougher. I didn’t really know any of the defensive players. So, I just looked at the positions where my team was weak, according to the simulator. Ended up grabbing a cornerback, I think.
- Later Rounds: To be completely honest, I kinda started winging it after the third round. I just looked for guys with good ratings in the simulator and hoped for the best. Picked up a running back, a couple of offensive linemen, and some other guys I can’t even remember.
The Results
After I made all my picks, the simulator gave me a grade. I got, like, a B-. Not terrible, I guess, but not amazing either. It showed me a list of all the players I drafted, and it compared my team’s needs before and after the draft.
It was kind of interesting to see how the simulator thought I did. It even had little blurbs about each player I picked, telling me their strengths and weaknesses.
My Thoughts
Overall, it was a fun little time-waster. I wouldn’t take it too seriously, though. I mean, I doubt I’d be a very good NFL general manager in real life. It did make me think about the real draft, though, and how many tough decisions these teams have to make.
I repeat to do this simulation for several *’s really intersting.
