2024 PPR Rankings for Fantasy Football: Get Your Cheat Sheet Here Now!

Okay, folks, let’s dive into my little adventure with prepping for the 2024 Fantasy Football PPR season.

2024 PPR Rankings for Fantasy Football: Get Your Cheat Sheet Here Now!

It all started with me, sitting on my couch, realizing it was time to get serious. I mean, really serious. Last year, my team was… well, let’s just say it wasn’t pretty. So this year, I decided, no more messing around. I’m gonna dominate.

Getting Started: The Research Binge

First thing I did? I hit the internet. Hard. I opened up like a million tabs – all the usual suspects for fantasy football rankings. I wanted to see what the “experts” were saying, who they were hyping up, and who they were down on.

I spent hours, and I mean hours, just reading. Articles, player profiles, projections… you name it, I devoured it. It was like drinking from a firehose of football info.

Compiling My Own Spreadsheet (Because I’m That Guy)

But here’s the thing: I’m a spreadsheet guy. Always have been. So, naturally, I started pulling all this data into my own Excel sheet. I made columns for player names, projected points, average draft position (ADP), and all that jazz. I even added a column for my own gut feeling – because sometimes, you just gotta trust your instincts, right?

  • Player Name: Obvious, I needed those ID, so I know how is the real player!.
  • Projected Points: I grabbed these from a few different sources, just to get a range.
  • ADP: This helped me see where players were generally being drafted.
  • My Notes: This is where I put my own thoughts, like “Sleeper alert!” or “Injury risk – be careful!”

The Ranking Process: Gut Feeling Meets Data

Now came the fun part: actually ranking the players. I looked at the projections, the ADP, and my own notes. I started moving players up and down my list, comparing them head-to-head. It was like a puzzle, trying to figure out who was going to be the best value pick in each round.

I spent a good chunk of time just staring at the spreadsheet, tweaking things here and there. It’s not an exact science, you know? There’s a lot of guesswork involved, but that’s part of what makes it fun.

The Final Product: My (Hopefully) Winning Rankings

After all that work, I finally had my rankings. My precious, beautiful rankings. Are they perfect? Probably not. But they’re mine, and I feel good about them. I’ve got my sleepers, my safe picks, and my guys I’m avoiding like the plague. Now I felt better, because I got my own rank, now I need to wait for the start of the season.

The real test, of course, will be the actual season. But at least I feel prepared. I’ve done my homework, I’ve put in the time, and I’m ready to (hopefully) crush it this year. Wish me luck!
