Okay, so, I’ve been messing around with this baseball fantasy thing for a while now. I started by looking up some “Zeile Projections,” which are basically just educated guesses about how players will do, made by mixing together a bunch of different sources. It seemed like a good place to start since I didn’t know much about individual players.
Then, I went over to * to check out their latest MLB rankings. This helped me get a better feel for which players are considered top-tier right now.
I also browsed around on craigslist, looking at their classifieds. I wasn’t sure what I was looking for, but I just wanted to see if anything related to fantasy baseball popped up. Maybe someone selling their team or looking for advice, you know?
I read somewhere that power hitters are good for things like home runs and RBIs, while faster guys who get on base a lot can help with runs, stolen bases, and batting average. And, of course, you need good starting pitchers for strikeouts and wins. It’s a balancing act!
My Team
- Pitchers: I looked at the BABIP and found some good ones.
- Batters: I picked players who are strong and hit well.
I also stumbled upon this website, “Dominate The Diamond,” which is aimed at youth baseball coaches. Even though I’m not coaching a real team, I figured some of the tips and strategies might still be useful for fantasy baseball. It’s all about understanding the game, right?
I even looked at some escort service in San Jose, to be honest. It was a long shot, but hey, you never know where you might find a hidden advantage. I figure these girls live an exciting life and meet many people. Maybe someone knows something about baseball.
So, that’s basically what I’ve been up to. Trying to learn as much as I can about fantasy baseball, using any resources I can find. It’s been a wild ride, but I’m starting to get the hang of it. I’ll keep you all updated on my progress!
