Okay, so I’ve been messing around with this idea for a while, right? About capturing women’s sports, but, like, in the nude. Yeah, sounds wild, I know. But hear me out.

First off, I started just by brainstorming. What sports would even work for this? I made a list. Volleyball, gymnastics, wrestling, weightlifting, even roller skating. You know, sports with a lot of movement and where the body is really on display. I started to write down some keywords: naked, free, sport.
Then I moved on to actually watching some sports. Not in the nude yet, just regular sports. I wanted to see how the athletes moved, what kind of shots I could get. I watched a ton of volleyball, some gymnastics, just to get a feel for it. I’ve been looking around for some inspiration, you know? I came across this interview with Olympic gymnast Marta Pagnini. She did a whole interview naked, talking about body positivity. Pretty bold, right? I saw this one campaign with Aly Raisman, where she posed nude with empowering messages written on her skin. It was part of a Sports Illustrated thing. Powerful stuff.
- Watched volleyball matches
- Checked out gymnastics routines
- Looked up interviews with athletes about body image
After that, it was time to, well, get into the practical part. I started small. Just some basic stuff, like picking up a ball and throwing it, all while being totally in the buff. Felt weird at first, ngl. But I kept at it. Then I tried some more dynamic stuff. Like, imagine doing a full-on gymnastics routine, completely naked. It’s a whole different experience, I gotta say. I tried some nude roller skating, and also tried to do some basic weightlifting moves without any clothes on. It just felt so free and unchained.

So, where am I at now? I’ve got a bunch of footage. It’s raw, it’s real, and yeah, it’s pretty out there. But I think there’s something to this. It’s about showing the female body in a different light, you know? Not just about sex, but about strength, about movement, about being comfortable in your own skin. I created some test footage. I don’t know. It’s definitely not for everyone. It’s niche, for sure. But for those who get it, I think it could be something really special. And I do think it is really something special. I enjoy this so much.
Anyway, that’s where I’m at with this whole “women’s sports nude” project. It’s a journey, man. A weird, wild, and kinda awesome journey.
