So today I thought I’d share how I tackled getting the DeSales baseball schedule for 2025 sorted. Seriously guys, you’d think finding a team schedule online would be a breeze, right? Yeah, think again.
The Starting Lineup
First off, I needed that schedule. Planning my whole spring around those games, knowing when DeSales plays at home so I can actually be there. Maybe bring a buddy too. So I grab my laptop around coffee time this morning.
Opened up Google. Typed in something obvious like “DeSales University baseball schedule 2025”. Got results… but none of them took me straight to the schedule page. Like, why is this a treasure hunt? Got links to general athletics, news articles about last season’s stats, tickets for other sports – everything except the 2025 baseball schedule I actually wanted. Annoying.
Hitting Roadblocks
Finally found a link mentioning baseball schedules. Clicked it. Dead end. Page loaded screaming “Error 404: Page Not Found”. Classic. Tried another link. This one went to the athletics homepage. Okay, fine. Navigated manually – clicked on “Sports”, then scrolled down forever to find “Baseball”.
Got to the baseball page. Saw tabs like “Roster”, “News”, “Coaches”, “Photos”… Where the heck is “Schedule”? Kept scrolling, feeling like I was digging through digital sand. Then – boom! Tiny little link button saying “Schedule & Results”. Felt like winning the lottery for a second.
Clicked it… and guess what? It showed the 2024 schedule. Come on! Felt like the universe was playing a joke on me. Looked everywhere on that page – no dropdown, no mention of 2025 anywhere. Total dead end.
Mobile Mayhem
Figured maybe the desktop site was busted. Pulled out my phone, launched the mobile site. Same process, smaller screen, more scrolling thumb-cramp. Found the baseball section, hunted for the schedule link… Same wall. Still stuck in 2024 season-land. Starting to feel seriously frustrated.
Remembered sometimes the calendar view is weird on mobile. Tried that. Saw tiny boxes for March and April… filled with games from last year! Completely useless. Needed to check my blood pressure after that one.
The Grand Slam Find?
Took a deep breath, went back to the desktop site. Was about to email someone official when I spotted it. Way down at the bottom of the baseball homepage, tucked under some news blurbs… A small section titled “Future Schedules” or something like that. Heart skipped a beat.
Inside that section? Plain text listings by month. March, April dates. Opponents named. “Home” or “Away” tagged. Didn’t have fancy times or field locations yet, but the core dates? Right there. Like finding buried treasure in plain sight. Copy-pasted that whole list straight into my notes app like my life depended on it. Finally!
Why I Even Bother Telling You This?
Because honestly? I wasted almost an hour clicking circles online today. Should take 2 minutes, tops. I know some of you love DeSales baseball too and might go through this same headache. Save yourselves the rage. Hunt for that “Future Schedules” text like a hawk. Check the very bottom corners. Saves a lot of aggravation.
I only figured out how deep that rabbit hole goes because I stubbornly refused to call the athletics office at 8 AM. Spent longer fighting the website than it’d take to drive to campus! That’s the absurd truth sometimes with these sites. The struggle is real, folks.
