Alright, folks, grab your coffee. Today’s a bit messy but fun. I knew ND women’s hoops schedule for 2025 was dropping, and my ancient paper calendar needed some fresh ink. Problem? Official release never showed when I wanted it to. Typical.

The Digging Begins
Woke up early Tuesday, laptop fired up before breakfast. Figured the athletics site must have it. Nope. Zilch. Just the same old promo stuff from last season. Frustrating? You bet.
Sipped my coffee, lukewarm now. Tried the usual spots: fan forums, social media buzz – you know, chasing rumors. Found a couple folks claiming insider stuff, dates thrown around but nothing solid. Couldn’t trust it. Needed official sauce.
Scratching It Down
Finally! Midday, hit refresh one more time on the official site, and BAM! There it was. Big PDF download. Printer? Jammed, naturally. Kicked the darn thing gently (well, maybe not so gently). Got it working. Slammed that print button. Paper shot out warm, ink still a bit wet.
Squinted at it. Tiny font. Grabbed my big, trusty wall calendar off the kitchen wall – the one covered in pasta sauce splotches from last month. Needed my thick black marker. Found it under a pile of junk mail. Started circling dates right there on my counter.
Big game days jumped out first:
- Season opener? November 5th. Big marker THUMP on that square. Home game too.
- Rival showdown? Duke, January 15th. Double-underlined that sucker. Can’t miss it.
- Tournament crunch time? Circled February: UConn on the 3rd, Virginia Tech on the 19th. Back-to-back beasts.
- Senior Night? Took a minute to find it. March 2nd. Little heart drawn next to that one.
Marker bled through to the November page underneath. Whatever. Then, cross-checking times. Local time? Eastern? Site said ET. Good. Didn’t want another “thought it was 7 but it was 4” disaster like last year. Wrote “ET” big in the corner of the calendar.
Mission (Kinda) Accomplished
Stared at my messy wall calendar. Black circles, smudged ink, “ET” scrawled, couple of question marks where the info was still unclear. It looked like a toddler attacked it. Perfect. Exactly what I needed.
Point is? Don’t wait for perfect. Just grab those key dates when you see ’em, scribble ’em down your way. Now, whenever I walk past that splotchy calendar in my kitchen, I know exactly when to clear my schedule and yell “Go Irish!”. Mark yours – however you roll. Just get it done.
