Heritage High School Football Tickets Where to Buy Cheapest Seats

Okay so this whole ticket hunt started ’cause my kid’s friend plays JV for Heritage High. Figured it’d be cool to surprise him with some buddies cheering him on. Easy peasy, right? Man, was I wrong.

The Price Shock Moment

First stop was the official school athletics site. Clicked on football tickets, saw the options… and dang near choked. $25 bucks a pop? For high school ball? And that was just the basic “sit in the nosebleeds” seat. Want the good spots near the 50-yard line? Fork over $45. Each! Multiply that by four people… yeah, no. My wallet started sweating just looking at it.

Called the school ticket office next day, hoping maybe they had a cheaper secret stash. Nice lady, but nope. “Those are our regular prices, sir.” Asked about student discounts or anything. “Only for active students showing ID at the gate.” My group? All adults tagging along. Strike two.

Getting Desperate (The Cheap Seat Scavenger Hunt)

Time to get scrappy. Remembered some folks talking about resale sites for local stuff. Jumped on there. At first, it looked worse! People asking more than face value? Seriously? Like $30 for those nosebleeds. Felt like giving up.

Scrolled way down, kept refreshing. Bingo! Found two listings way cheaper:

  • Seller #1: Upper deck, visitor side. $10 each. But only two tickets.
  • Seller #2: Corner endzone, last row. $15 each. Four tickets together.

Visitor side wasn’t ideal, but $10? Couldn’t beat that. Snatched those two instantly. Still needed two more.

Took a deep breath, clicked buy on two of the $15 endzone tickets. Figured we’d just split into two groups. Total spent? $50 bucks for four tickets. Wayyyyy better than $100+ buying direct.

Lesson learned? Public schools never tell you the real cheap ways. Gotta hunt like you lost your car keys in a dark alley. It’s nuts out there, but cheap seats do exist if you dig deep and settle for the not-so-perfect view. We cheered loud enough from the top, kid saw us, mission accomplished.
