The Annoying Search Begins
Decided to grab the Miami University Baseball schedule for 2025 this afternoon. Honestly figured it would be super easy, like grabbing fries. Boy, was I wrong.

First thing, went looking for their official sports stuff. Typed something like “Miami University baseball official site” into the search bar. A bunch of junk popped up. Seriously, why is there so much stuff online that doesn’t actually help?
- Hit some weird conference site first. Said something about ACC baseball. Looked fancy but had ZERO schedules listed for any teams. Waste of time.
- Then got sent to NCAA baseball section. Even worse. Just news about rules and past champions buried like treasure nobody wants. No schedules anywhere.
- Found what LOOKED like their schedule page. Got all hopeful. Clicked it… boom, page error. Awesome. Just freaking awesome.
Getting Stuck Like Glue
Okay, deep breath. Figured maybe their main university site might have a clue. Went to the big Miami University homepage. Tons of links about “Academics” and “Campus Life”. Baseball? Nah.
Found the athletics drop-down menu. Tiny thing, practically invisible. Hovered over it. Saw “Sports” listed. Clicked that, then found the page showing ALL their teams. Scrolled down forever – football, soccer, swimming… where the heck is baseball?
Pro tip: Always look twice. Turns out “Baseball” was hiding between “Swimming & Diving” and “Track & Field”. Simple name, buried deep. Clicked it finally.
Landed on the team’s homepage. Saw pictures, rosters, old news articles. No schedule. Seriously? Felt like running in circles.
Glanced around the page. Spotted a button that screamed “Schedule”. Clicked it super fast… BAM! Got the 2024 schedule. Last year! Why is last year always the default? Annoying as heck.
The PDF Treasure Hunt
Noticed a little calendar icon near the top right, kinda small and shy. Hovered over it. It whispered “Calendar” in tiny letters. Clicked it.
Opened this huge university events calendar mess. Everything under the sun was in there – art shows, guest lectures, meetings. Needed to filter this junk.
Saw a “Filter” button. Clicked that. A bunch of categories appeared. Scanned them fast. Saw “Athletics”. Checked that box. Immediately, 90% of the junk disappeared. Progress!
But it still showed all sports – volleyball, lacrosse, everything. Needed just baseball. Kept looking through the filters. Found a “Sport” dropdown hiding below. Selected “Baseball” from the list.
Finally! Only baseball events showed up. Thank goodness. Now to find the ACTUAL schedule PDF. Scrolled through the events. Saw “2025 Miami Baseball Schedule” listed for like September or something future-y. Clicked that specific event.
The event details opened up. Looked down. There it was: a link button saying “Download Schedule PDF”. Felt like winning the lottery. Clicked it. PDF popped open instantly. Full 2025 schedule with dates, opponents, locations – the whole shebang. was its glorious name.
Sighed a big ol’ sigh. Took way longer than grabbing fries. Just sat there staring at it. Victory tastes a bit bitter after sweating like a dog over a stupid calendar.
